Just two minutes walk from the station and the lively town centre; impressively refurbished ‘de luxe’ room, the photos don’t fully do it justice - comfortable seating for five or six people; excellent, well-designed bathroom. Good breakfast buffet spread in the very traditional high-ceilinged dining room (the revamp strangely hasn’t reached the ground floor yet), and two excellent dinners on the half-pension arrangement - the first at the very gemutlich Engelberg hotel down the Ian street (Schweizerhof restaurant closed on Christmas Eve).

Great location, and really nice staff. Breakfast was good and the space cosy, little name labels was a nice touch. Room was an upgrade and a really nice area and great view. The room was ready when I arrived first thing in the morning, which was really kind of them to have planned like that.

The receptionist was waiting late because I was on a trip from Munich and arrived at the hotel late and he provided me with everything I needed for my one night stay. The hotel is in a beautiful in day time .. since it is old style The hotel and staff were good The room was big and clean The bathroom was good free parking They have washing machines.

Love this place and definitely recommend it. 1. It's just a stone throw away from the train station. 2. Beautiful place. 3. Spacious rooms and I had a balcony. 4. Wonderful and welcoming staff, especially at the breakfast place. 5. A small name board on the breakfast table gave a personalised touch. 6. Bathrooms are well built, and they had a hair dryer, weighing scale, stool etc etc. 7. beds were comfortable. 8. Very near to all the places.

Fabulous hotel, fabulous location, outstanding staff. One of the best hotel in Engelberg for sure. We booked family room and it was little outdated but views were amazing and later on we booked new family room which was one of the best hotel room in our entire trip. Staff is so helpful and their breakfast was also really good. Top notch hotel, don’t even think of staying in any other hotel in Engelberg

Hotel Schweizerhof is a beautiful historic hotel. I read about the family and hotel history, and that's why I wanted to experience it. Just an awesome place to stay. Right by the train station, the hotel couldn't be in a better location. Free parking is always appreciated. And our room was awesome! Very spacious! Great view! Great breakfast, and finally our kind Gentleman Receptionist was amazing explaining everything to us. Just a great guy!

Staff very friendly especially the gentleman at Reception, very helpful and knowledgeable and always ready to assist. Breakfast lady aswell going the extra mile and finding a table to fit all of us. Sauna, gym facilities basic but good! Ideal location, walking distance from shops, restaurants and Titlis Ski cable cars and ticket office.

Very spacious room with a balcony, little seating area and a comfortable double bed with separate mattresses. Well equipped bathroom and overall very clean hotel. The breakfast was very nice with lots of choices and the staff very attentive and always with a smile

Really comfortable room. While a bit dated it was really clean and comfortable and had everything that was needed. It was a very short walk from the station and the gentleman at reception gave us some really great recommendations for where to eat and what to do. Breakfast was terrific! The main lady at breakfast was attentive and it was never too much trouble for another tea/coffee.
